Tbe New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Coy., Ltd., are just in receipt of the following telegram from their London office : Tallow is ready of sale. N.Z. fine mutton is worth 28s 3d per cwt. N.Z. good beef is worth 26s 9d per cwt. Wheat market is steady ; N.Z. average is worth 28s p. 496 lbs ; Longberried is worth 295. Mutton market quiet ; Canterbury is worth 3Jd, Otago 2£d, and Wellington 3d. N.Z. beef, there is a good demand. Arrivals of American beef are light; N.Z. forequarters 3£d, hindquarters, 3fd.
