McKay Bros., Exchange Sale Booms, Invercargill, report on their Saturday market; Cows—ln fair demand; sold up to .£2 10s. Fowls—Strong demand ; quitted at Is 8d to Is lid each. Ducks-—A heavy entry of young dueks, which were eagerly competed for, and sold up to Is lOd each. Pigs—Pair entry; competition a little better, and prices inclined to harden. Potatoes —35s to 40s ; market quiet. Chaff—sos to 55s ; market quiet. Onions—11s to 14s.
Strawberries now arriving daily ; orders for jam should be booked at once to ensure fulfilment.
