A GARDENER’S GRATITUDE.

Mr Thomas Henry Ames, of George Street, Parkside, Adelaide, is showing his gratitude to the proprietors of Bile Beans by telling everyone be meets what that wonderful medicine has done for him, and when interviewed by a reporter of the Adelaide Advertiser as to his marvellous recovery by Bile Beans, said : —“ By occupation lam a gardener. About tea years ago I contracted a severe attack of yellow jaundice, and went into the Adelaide Hospital for treatment, Tbe hospital doctors treated me well, and at the end of six months I left the institution, and was in a terrible weak state of health. My food did me little good, and I had a bad taste in my mouth, suffered with severe headaches, and had pains between the shoulders. My rest was also broken, and some nights I used to toss about in bed; longing for sleep, but was unable to obtain it. My urinary organs were very weak, and I occasionally had fits of retching ; and once or twice bringing up blood. I took large quantities of different medicines, which I obtained from the doctors and the chemists, but the relief the physic afforded me ,vas only temporary, and in a day or two all my troublesome symptoms would return. After I had taken a box and a half I felt greatly relieved, the weakness of the bowels, which was an after-effect of the jaundice, disappearing entirely. My other organs began to perform their proper functions; the pains between the shoulders, the retching, also disappeared within a couple of months.
