MINING SHARES. Mr W. B. Scandrett reports that the improved prospects o£ the Morning Star and Golden Site mines have made all Preservation Inlet shares enquired for more or less. He has sold Golden Site’s A shares at 5s 6s, Morning Star’s A shares at 13s, Investment Shares.—Shares in National Bank, Mosgiel Woollen Company, and New Zealand Drug Company are readily saleable. Money.—For first class town property with a good margin, money can be lent at 4A per cent. Smaller loans, 5 per cent. Loans in country towns, 6 per cent.
