‘ No,’ did you say ? Well, how's this P A man married a widow who had a grown-up daughter. His father visited his house very often, fell in love with the stepdaughter, and married her. Thus his father became bis son-in law, and his stepdaughter his mother, because she was his father’s wife. Some time afterwards his wife had a son ; this son was his father’s brother-in-law and his he was the brother of his stepmother. His father’s wife, i.e., his stepmother, has also a son, who was, of course, his brother, and in the meantime his grandchild, for he was the son of his daughter. His wife was his grandmother, for she was his mother’s mother. He was his wife’s husband and grandchild at the same time, and as the husband of a person’s grandmother is bin grandfather, he was bis own t/randfather. Now, then, do you see it P
