A meeting - of a hundred settlers was held at Eltham on the 6th alt to discuss tuberculosis. The meeting carried resolutions to the effect that compensation should be paid in full*, that the cost of compensation be borne out of the consolidated revenue, and that the Chairman have the resolutions forwarded to the Minister, and that Mr McGriiire be requested to move at once in the matter.
