THE following alterations in and additions to ordinary train service will be made in connection with, above : CHRISTMAS EVE. On Friday, 24th December, a special train for Bluff will leave Invercargill at 10,30 p.m., returning leaving Bluff at 11.30 p.m. A special train for Dunedin leaves Invercargill at 10 20 pm., arriving at 6.45, a.m., on 25th December. This train will not stop at flag stations between Woodlands and Clinton. CHRISTMAS DAY. On Saturday 20th December, all ordinary time-table trains south of Clinton will be suspended with the following exceptions : The 10.0 a.m Invercargill to Clinton and 1.46 p.m. Clinton to Invercargill, the North and South Express trains, the 845 a.m., Kingston to Gore, and 1.47 p.m. Gore to Kingston. The 9 35 a.m Invercargill to Orepuki which which will be accelerated to arrive at Orepuki at 12.25 p.m , and the 2.20. p.m. Orepuki to Invercargill which will be delayed, to leave Orepuki at 4.30 p.m. A special train from Dunedin (leaving at 11 20. pm. on 24th) will arrive at Invercargill at 8.30 a.m. South of Clinton this train stops to let down passengers only. Special trains leave Inveicargill for Bluff at 9.50 a.m., and 2.15 p.m., and Bluff for Invercargill 10.45 a m. and 6.0 p.m. All goods traffic will be suspended except perishable, which will be worked where trains run. BOXING DAY. RIVERTON REGATTA AND OTAUTAU SPORTS. OREPUKI AND NIGHTCAPS LINES. On Monday, 27th December, the ordinary 9.35 a.m. tram Invercargill to Riverton and 3.45 p.m. Riverton to Invercargill will not run, and instead a special train for Orepuki will leave Invercargill 9.35 a.m , Riverton 11.15 a.m., returning leaving Orepuki 4.45 p.m., Riverton 6.0 p.m. These trains connect at Thornbury with specials to and from Otautau racecourse, and the 4.45 p.m. from Orepuki connects at Makarewa with train to Lumsden. A special train for Otautau racecourse leaves Riverton 10.25 a.m., returning leaving racecourse 5.25 p.m. These trains will connect at Thornbury with special trains from and to Invercargill. The ordinary . 5.0 p.m. train Riverton to Nightcaps will not leave Riverton till 7.0 p.m., connecting at Thornbury with train from Invercargill. The ordinary 4.0 p.m. train Invercargill to Orepuki will not leave Invercargill till 6 p.m., Riverton 7.60 p.m., and will connect at Thornbury with train to Nightcaps. WINTON CALEDONIAN GAMES. KINGSTON LINE. A special train leaves Invercargill for Winton at 10.-5 a.m. The ordinary 4.5 p.m. train, Lumsden to Invercargill, will not leave Lumsden till 5.10 p.m., Winton 7.15 p.m. The ordinary 4.25 p.m. train, Invercargill to Lumsden, will not leave Invercargill till 6.30 p.m., Winton 8.0 p.m. This train will connect at Makarewa with train from Orepuki and Otautau racecourse. CLINTON LINE. MATAURA ATHLETIC SPORTS. The ordinary 4.40 p.m. train, Gore to Invercargill, will not leave Gore till 5.50 p.m., Mataura 6.25 p.m. BLUFF LINE. The ordinary Timetable will be suspended and instead special trains will leave Invercargill for Bluff at 7.0 a.m,., 9.15 a.m,, 11.50 a.m., 2.0 p m., 5.20 p.m., and 10.30 p.m., returning leaving Bluff at 'B.IO a.m., 10.20 a.m., 1-0 p.m., 4.10 p.m., 6.20 p.m.', sind 11.30 p.m,
