A FATAL LAND DISPUTE.
The settlement of Harapipi, Waikato; was the scene of a tragedy on the 12th insfc. A man named Patrick Corcoran and his son were erecting a boundary fence, when a neighbour named Henry Pohlen, aged 78 years, and who carried a gun, threatened to shoot Corcoran unless he desisted.

At the inquest the jury returned a verdict of wilful murder against Pohlen.
