SUICIDES.
A joung man named Henderson, has committed suicide by hanging himself at M‘Jannett’s farm, Woodhead, Raglan district, Auckland. Henderson went oat to inspect sheep, and not returning M'Jannett went to look for him. He found him hanging by his neck in a house. Henderson was a native of Irvine, Ayrshire. A man named Martin Cruse committed suicide at Grey Valley (West Coast) on Monday last. He fired two shots into his body. Thos Stephen (Auckland) committed suicide by hanging himself to the ridge pole of a tent. John Pox, a settler at Mandeville, shot himself on Thursday morning. He was under remand on a charge of assaulting his niece. He had been drinking heavily since the charge was laid. The case was to have been resumed in Gore on Thursday.
