It is of Dr Bu.sb.by that the followmo- is told —Just before commencing’ punishment the doctor humourously remarked : —“ I publish the banns or matrimony between this birch and this boy.” “ I forbid the banns,” cried the victim ! “ On what grounds P” “Because the parties are not agreed.” The boy escaped.
