Hi ere was a, small yarding* at ilia Levin saloyards yesterday, sheep being absolutely unrepresented. Both pigs and cattle were in short .supply and sold at tale rales. Cattle, were mo.-tly of medium quality, better sorts meeting with satisfactory demand. A good line of Jersey cross weaner heifers brought £4 but poorer surts were not sought after. Prices were as follows: Pigs : Weaners 7s to ;i*>s, small stores Us to 265, light porkers 20s to* £2 2S, heavier sorts £2 J2s to £2 14s. Cattle; Fat cows £3, cows in profit to £lO ss, dairy cows, spring cal vie : rs, £5 10s to £7. store cows 26s to 355. 3yr steers £3 is, good weaner heifers £2 Os to £4, Shorthorn weaner heifers 17. s to 80s,.weaner stems 31s.
