SHOOTING.

TIMARU NAVAL ARTILLERY. Thirty-two members of the above company yesterday shot in the first competition of Mr W. Hall-Jones’ aggregate trophy, the range trophy (Mr McGninneas’) being won by Gunner North. The day was a rather muggy one for shooting, but in spite of that some very fair scores were put up. The conditions were 10 shots at 300 yards (small inner) any position. The following are the highest scores: —
