Government hope to bring the session to a close about Christmas time, and to reassemble Parliament about the middle of April.
GUNS FOR KING GEORGE’S SOUND.
Perth, Nov. 27. The Defence Commission have completed the inspection of the defences of King George’s Sound, and as. a result of their deliberations, a cable has been sent to England for a number of guns. Sir F. T. Sargood will attend to the details in connection with the defence works.

The Constitution Bill, which provides for the appointment of two additional ministers, one for Labour, and one for Agriculture, has passed the second reading in the House of Assembly.
