Jersey and her condition is improving.
COMMERCIAL.
Money is declining.
Three months’ bills are quoted at per cent.
Consols, for money, 95£, firm. New Zealand 4 per cent, inscribed stock 104£, firmer ; 3| do 94|. The money market is recovering after the recant relapse.
The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,376,000 quarters, and for the Continent 648,000. The American visible supply is estimated at 24,192,00 bushels.
Arrivals of wool up to date total 122,000 bales, of which 12,400 have been sent forward direct. 144,000 bales are now available for the present series.
