SUPREME COURT.

NAPIER, July 21,

The Supreme Court opened to-day, and Mr Justice Connolly was welcomed by Mr Lee, the senior member of the bar. The Judge, in replying, said he had not been appointed to this district, nor was he likely to be, but he only took the place of the Judge who was unable to come. The criminal calendar is very light.
