THE WHISTLE NUISANCE.

[to thb editor.] Sib, — I have resided within 100 yards of the Woollen Factory for the last four years, and I consider the whistle more of a benefit than a nuisance, and I should be very sorry to hear of it being discontinued, especially in the winter months, as I should have to jump out of bed two or three times during the night to ascertain (he time, for fear of over sleeping. As it is I can now take my rest depending upon the whist’e to arouse mo in time to get ablution and breakfast comfortably, and away to my work punctually.

I am etc., Pbo Boko Public?.
