A Suicide.
(By Telegraph.) CHRISTCHURCH. June 11. An elderly man named Reid, living in Norlh Christchurch, alone, died this morning from a wound in the throat, presumed to bo self inflicted. He called out to neighbors that he had cut his throat, recommending them to send for tho police. They did so, and Constable fc'cott found Eeid lying in a pool or blood. The wound looked as if made yesterday. The constable removed him to the hospital but he died on the way.
