A Hospital Patient at Large.
Mr William Reid, atone time a solicitor In practice here, who was taken some days ago from the Old Men’s Homo to (ha Hospital for medical treatment, got at largo betwen 11 and 12 o’clock last night. Sergeant Major Mason was at once acquainted with the fret, and lie immediately sent his officers out to search for him. During the night the search proved unsucessful, but this morning Mr Eeid was found by the Sergeant Major himself, -wondering about on the West Town Belt. Fortunately the weather last night was mild for this season of the year, and Mr Reid’s constitutional is not likely to be followed by immediate evil results. In answer to tho Sergeant Major Mr Reid said that altogether he must have wandered “over 25 miles.” He was at once taken back to safe quarters.
