(By Telegraph.) Supposed Incendiary Caught, BLENBEIM May 23. A young man named Augustus Lucas was charged at the R. M. Court to-day with willfully setting fire to the school on April 23rd. Ho was remanded to the 30 inst, and bail was allowed. c May 23. The Lodge in Dunedin has approved of the Grand Lodge movement. Pictures for the Exhibition.
Tho Anglo-Australia a collection of oil paintings which was intended for the Melbourne Exhibition but arrived too late, and is now exhibiting in Sydney, has been secured for the Dunedin Exhibition,on the same terms as tho British Loan collection. Wareatea was towed into Port this morning by the Penguin, her propeller shaft having broken when 25 miles this side of Capo Campbell, Tho Penguin came up shortly after the accident and took her in tow.
