The 'schooners Spray and Prince Enpert ought to be showing up by now ; the former is ia week out from Napier, and the latter four days from Lyttelton. Mr S. H. Amon, of Lower Eangitikei, found on the 3rd inst., at high water mark, about half a mile north of the Eangitikei river, a sealed bottle containing a printed of which the following is a copy:—“ H.M.S. Eaven, lat. 41.8 S . long. 164.40 E; 10th of December, 1888. Frank Myley, commander. "Whoever finds this paper is requested to forward it to the Secretary of the Admiralty, London, with a note of the time and place at which it was found.
