For Wellington and Sydney, per Waka* tipn, on Saturday, 18th inst., at 4.30 p.m. For Australian Colonies, per Pukaki, on Tuesday. 21st inst., at 2.30 p.m. The s.s. Richmond will leave Auckland for Tonga, Samoa, and Tahiti, on Tuesday, the 21st, at 11 a.m. ' On and after Monday, 13th inst., mails by trains will close at Timarn, as follows For South (per express) daily at 2.30 p.m., and by other trains as at present. For North (by express) daily at 4.43 p.m. ; for Christchurch and intermediate offices, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 6 a.m., and on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, at 11.30 a.m. ; for local offices, as far as Ashburton, daily, at 6 a.m. (Signed) Ed.
