Big Native Meeting.
(By Telegraph.) AUCKLAND, AprilJlS. There are 500 natives present at a native meeting at Poroti. Mr Whitaker represented the Government, and in reply to questions said those concerned in a recent fight, by which several men were killed, would not be arrested, but future offenders would be severely dealt with. The natives in one district would not bo allowed to interfere with those in other districts who wished to have their land passed through the Court.
