(By Telegraph.) Unlicensed AuctioneeringWELLINGTON, Nov. 23. At the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Wm, Henshard, on two charges of selling goods, &c., by auction without being duly licensed, was fined £IOO on each charge. CommittedClement Starding, for obtaining money on false pretenses was committed for trial. Acquitted. Edward Roberts, arrested some days ago for unlawfully and maliciously wounding William Clements with a knife was acquitted. Mayoral Election, Samuel Brown, present Mayor and Councillor J. Petherick were to.day nominated for the Mayorality. Serious AccidentGRBYMOUTH, Nov. 23. A man named Partley fell from the loft of a stable last night and fractured his skull, He lies unconscious at the Hospital.
