TSZSDA7. [Received Jan. 10,1884,12.40 p.m,] Disastrous Fire, Melbourne, Jan. 10. A disastrous fire occurred this morning at the Apollo Candle Company’s works, Footscray. The whole premises were almost totally destroyed, and the loss is very heavy. The supply of water was deficient, and it was consequently almost impossible to check the spread of the flames.
