TIMARU—THIS DAY. (Before H. H. Hennah, Esq.) ASSAULT. W. M. Hatfield was charged with assaulting one Thomas H. Wigley at Opahu Station, Albury district, on 4th inst. Inspector Broham asked for a remand till to-morrow to enable him to procure the attendance of Mr Wigley, and the Bench having consented to the adjournment the accused asked that bail might be allowed. Bail was accordingly allowed, accused in £2O, and one surety of £2O.
