Wellington, March 15. The following are the vital statistics for the undermentioned Boroughs for the month of February :

The deaths of persons not residents of the Boronghs occurring at Hospitals have been excluded in all cases. The total births in the above Boroughs amounted to 428, against 525 in January, a decrease of 97, The deaths in February were 224, a decrease of 27 on the number for January. Of the above deaths, males contributed 116 and females 108. 145 of the deaths were those of children under 5 years of age, being 64.73 per cent of the whole number, and of these, 114 were of children under one year of age.
