AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS AT HOME. [By Cable.] London, August 8. The cricket match between the Australians and an eleven of Kent was continued to-day .at Canterbury, The weather was again very fine, and a large concourse of spectators visited the ground. The Home team resumed their first innings, which closed for a total of 242 ; B. F. S. Tylecote scored 100, and W. Wilson 57. The Kent team followed on their innings, but only succeeded in putting together 165, owing to the excellent bowling of the Australians. The visitors then went in for their second innings, requiring 101 to win the match. Bannerman and Massic went to the wickets, and when time was called for the day the former had scored 7 and the latter 13, both not out. The score was then 21.
