CRICKET.
(Jn Monday next the Timard U. C, Club meet a combined team selected from all other Clubs in South Canterbury, or. the T. U. C. Club’s ground, commencing at II a.m. Considering that the combined clubs can send a very good eleven into the field, it is anticipated that the Timaru Club have been rather venturesome in sending. a challenge. However, this has been done, and a decision will be arrived at as above stated. We are unable to get the names of the combination, but believe such good players as Secretan, P. Jones, A. W. Wright, Pearpoint, Bethune, and Templar will be found in the list. The Timaru eleven are as followsßlundell, Courtis, Franks, Fraser, Fowler, Hughes, F. W, Jones W. King, Raymond, fShepherd, Lawrence, and C. T. H. Perry,
