Turf Notes.
(By "Taro Patch.") Great interest is beinv evinced in the race meeting to be held to-morrow, Owinj; to the iuflueuza this meeting was postponed from 28th August, and the extra time has been put to good use by trainers—for if rumours are to be relied upon, all the horses are in the "pink" of condition, The different races are well filled and it is to be no easy task to spot the winners. Buster, the winner of the \% mile race at last meeting, is again a competitor and Willie "Stowers hopes to get a second leg in on the Roberts Meraorial Trophy. RuperraJ the entry of Hon. O. F. Nelson, .is causing a great deal ol speculation as to her chauees of winning the '■double." Vailoa and Master John will be worth watching in whatever events they are started. The Mulifanna- stable will be represented 'by Cagi and Daylight, and no doubt the owner will be around wheu the prize-inony is beiug paid out.
Good reports of all the other entries also are coming iu, so these are sure to be some exciting liuishes.
