Mistaken For Slave Dhow.
The trim little yacht Amaryllis, which excited much interest on her visit to Sydney while cruising rouud the world with Lieut. Muhlhauser, R,N,R., was mistaken for a slave dhow or smuggler while anchored at Ul El Kyaman, in the Red Sea. ' 'Soo u after the vessel had anchored," writes Lieut. Muhlhauser, "a black appeared on the beach and blew whistles, which I disregarded, Presently a bullet sang overhead, and we heard tkp.^a^^t^np&: : : : fthe boat was hoisted out, and I went ashore? feeling pretty angry.
