Mrs A. Roke entertained thememj hers of the Women's Christian Temperance Union at her residence on March sth. Mrs Hugh Kasper, District President, was the gueat of honour. The subject of her address was "Social problems and how the W.O.T.U. is able to combat them." A play-reading was given by mem* hers and the proceeds from a 'trading table*' are to go towards Patriotic funds. Three new members were initiated and welcomed by the president. .
