Warkworth v. Kaukapakapa
Last Thursday a team from the Warkworth Croquet Club journeyed to Kaukupakapa where it met the local club in the second match of the N.Z. -Croquet Council's cup series. The match resulted in a win for Warkworth by 4 games to'2. Results are as follow, Kaukapakapa names mentioned first: —
Singles —Mrs Shanks 13, lost to Mrs Cai-ran 26; Mrs Downer 2, lost to Mrs Brukeurig 26; Mrs Ranum 26, beat Mrs Morrison 19; Mrs Miller 26, beat Mrs Buchanan 16.
Doubles —Mesdames Shanks and Downer 19, lost; to Mesdames Catran and Brakenrig 26; Mesdames Ranum and Miller 19, lost to Mesdames Morrison and Buchanan 26.
