WEDDING

TILL—NOBILO

The wedding took place at St r Patrick's Cathedral on Saturday afternoon of Miss Mary Rose Nobilo, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs j. Nbbilo, of Wellsford, and: Sergeant Thomas Raymond Till,, second son of Mr and Mrs S.Til],. of Auckland. The Rev. Father Cavanagh officiated. Professov Moore-Caroly played the'wedding music. During the ceremony Miss Wallace sang Gounod's "A.-ve Maria."

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a beautiful gown of brocaded magnolia satin. The close-fitting sleeves were built high at the shoulders and the neckline was very becoming. Her skirt fell into a long graceful train. Her veil of soft magnolia tulle, which was worn off the face, was caught in a topknot of cream roses. She carried a bouquet of cream begonias.

In attendance as bridemaids were Miss Milly Nobilo, sister of the bride, and Miss Dolly Peters, They wore charming frocks of magnolia taffetas. The highwaisted corsages were fashioned with short puffed sleeves and heart-shaped necklines. In their hair they wore topknots of red carnations and roses and carried shower bouquets of the same flowers. Little Joan Butler was flower girl and her frock, topknot and bouquet were replicas of the bridesmaids'.

Sergeant Hugh Webb was best man and Sergeant Donaldson' Grant was 'groomsman.' The nshej'S were Lieutenant N. M. Bradanovich and MrE. T.Butleiv

After the ceremony a reception r followed by a dance, was held in Milne and Choyce's reception room. Mrs Nobilo received the guests wearing a comet blue crepefrock and hat to match. She carried a bouquet of dark red roses and carnations. Assisting her was. Mrs Till, who wore a frock of black crepe and lace and carried a bouquet of shaded pink flowersr
