Saturday saw the green in excelleni condition for play although the wind was fitful and strong at times, making the bowling rather tiicky. Caids weie handed iv as follows : —Williams and Green 22, played Woodman anc Bart 18 ;J. Wilson and Petterd 19, played E Morrison and Hoysted, 14 ingham and J. Ashtou 15, played W Wilson and Civil 15 ; T. Ash ton and Turbott 23, played Duke and Moore 18. - Competition games as follows have beon played off during the week* — G. Civil beat Williams, 21 — 13 j Duke beat Hoysted, 19—16 ; J. Ashton beat Ingham, 18—17; Green beat Williams, 33—9 ; Green 23, beat E. Mor rison 9; Moore 17, v. Civil 13 "Woodman 20, v.
