AUCKLAND FARMERS' PROTEST. Per Press Association. Auckland, June 9 The Provincial Executive of the N.Z. Farmers' Uniou resolved to emphatically protest against the Government placing requisitioned butter on the market at a price considerably less than the cost of production, and that this, if persisted in, should warrant the forfeiture of the farming community's con n'dence in the Government.
