OHINGAITI NOTES.

From Our Own Correspondent. The annual general meeting takes place at 8 o'clock at the same place. It is freely rumoured locally that there will shortly be a Glaxo Factory established in thiH vicinity.

The Entertainment Committee who were responsible for the last social and dance are now making arrangements for a Grand Concert and Dance to be held on Friday, 4th June. In addition to the pick of the local talent artists are being engaged from other centres. Tins entertainment promises to Bclipse all previous efforts.

"With the persistent raiua and the regular traffic our roads are atill in a very bad way, despite the efforts of the indefatigable Mr Leigh. Mr Chas. Mclutyre, formerly a resident of the Ratgiwahia district, has now moved into his new residence at Ohingaiti. The local Rifle Club will be represented at the Patea Rifle Club match by a strong tsam in chargs of popular Captain A. Norris.

Sister West of fch'e Public Health has been conducting a series of health lectures this week' which have been verv well patronised. The popular sister whohas a good grip of her subjecct was for over three years on active service.
