The Kopane block is situated nine miles from Palmerston North and eight miles from Feilding, on the Longburn-Rongotea road. The sale was conducted by Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co, and. there were ’ many compliments on their successful management. Mr Norman Gorton, the well known auctioneer for Messrs Levin and Co, wielded the hammer. ‘“I am not going to say anything very much about these ections, gentlemen,” said Mr Gorton in commencing the sale. . “You all know them. For years Eopane has been recognised as amongst the richest and best fattening land in New Zealand.
