Lord jellicoe’s report has been tabled in the House. It traverses naval problems in the Pacific, as already presented to the New Zealand Government. Australia’s contribution to the Far Eastern fleet will involve an expenditure of £4,024,600 annually. Sir Joseph Cook stated that steps had already been taken to carry *out Lord J ellicoe’s recommendations. Reorganisation committees were being formed to inquire into naval services.
