THE CHRISTMAS CAMP

At last meeting of the Gamp Executive of the combined Boy Scouts Camp to be held In Marton in Christmas week, the following were present:—Commander Rev D. Campbell, of Wanganui, District Commander Rev K. McFarland, of Mangaweka, Miss Wilson, Provincial Secretary, Mrs Aldworth, Scoutmistress of Silvorhope, Scoutmaster A. J. Dixon, of Marton, and Mr William G. Kensington LS.O. A small committee with Mr Dixon as chairman, was set up to arrange matters in connection with the holding of the Camp. Another meeting will be held to-morrow afternoon.

The Camp should he well attended as the season is a holiday one and the census shows that, there are now 437 Boy Scouts "in Wellington Province and it is also expected that a number of hoys from Wanganui will attend.
