BOWLING.
The annual game (not a Club fixture) between rinks as given below was played a few days ago, and resulted in a wm for Marton teams. Cummins —Bates played 31 heads with scoring fairly even, fc-'nt-cliffe—Jones 24 heads, Sutcliffe making one dead head and scored on 19 heads to his opponents 5. Scores: — 'WANGANUI MAHTON. Hoggard MilfS Addenbrooke Dixon Harden Stafford Bates (sk) 19—Cummins (sk) 23 Howarth Gould Anderson Upchurch Death Duck Jones (sk) 11—Sutcliffe (sk) 35 Two rinks from Boston will pay a visit tu Marton nest Friday for a day’s bowling. Marton will be represented by the following players:—T, Low, J. Hunter, G. Cummins, G. Stafford (sk); W. Ward. A. H. Sutcliffe, G. Duck, H, Sutcliffe (sk). The morning game will commence at 10.30 sharp.
