A PERILOUS HOME-GQMING. NARROW ESCAPE FROM WRECK. New York, Feb 24 When President- Wilson arrived thousands greeted the ship, which narrowly escaped stranding on Teachers’ Island, owing to a fog. A destroyer discovered the danger and the Washington stopped a thousand yards off the shore.
