North and S. Lawry, of the New Zealand gAlliance, who attended as a deputation to ask the Assembly to put its full strength into the campaign. Rev. North said it was recognised the Presbyterian Church bad dona a tremendous work tor tbe cause.. Rev. Lawry said the causa on April 10th might hang on a single vote, and every Christian man and woman should be sure that his or her vote counted. The Assembly thanked ;tha deputation ,and expre3 ; ed strong.appreciatiou of ’the oojects of the Alliance.
