SOLDIERS’ HOSPITALS.

CPer Press Association.,; Napier, February 21. The Acting-Prime Minister opened the soldiers’ ward at the Napier Hospital to-day. He said the orthopaedic unit established at Christchurch would be under tbe supervision of Colcnel A. Culand, who would also have the care of limbless men. Colonel Wylie will go to Auckland, and establish a complete orthopaedic unit Rotorua would also be made orthopaedic, and Trentham as far as possible.
