It will be known as the English Electrical Company, with a capital of twentyfive million dollars, and will employ twenty-five thousand persons Ic is viewed as the British effort to obtain ascendancy of markets hither to controlled by America and Germany. The correspondent learns that the British concern contemplates the manufacture of typewriters on a scale sufficient to compete in the world markeis whica have hitherto been an American monopoly.
