EARNED NOT BOUGHT.
How hard it often is to earn and maintain a good reputation, and how easy it is to lese one. As with a man’s reputation, so it is with other things in his life. Some things achieve a reputation which stays with them. They are founded on intrinsic value. They fact the pubic backed up by honesty, and work their way thoroughly and quietly. They want no better proof of merit than is contained|in the following experience:— Mrs. A. Jones, 31 »Yanvick Street, Fielding, says:—“Four or five years ago I had a bad attack of Influenzia. Just as I was recovering I caught a fresh cold and was for a time in a bad way. I got somewhat better, but was left with a terrible backache. The pains started just above the kidneys and would strike up to the back of my head. Every moment increased the pain, and the only way I could get relief was to lie down. One day Doan’s Backache Kidney Pills were brought under my notice as a special remedy for backache, so I got some at once, and I am pleased to tell you that a thorough course cured me completely. It’s grand to be free of this awful complaint, and I cannot say enough in praise of these line pills. They cured me, and will, I am sure, cure others.” Sixteen years after, Mrs Jonfs says:—“My cure by Doan’s backache Kidney Pills Las stood the test of time. I am still well to-day.” Doan’s backache Kidney Pills are sold by all chemists and storekeepers at 3s p;r bottle, (six bottles 16s 6d), or will be posted on receipt of price by Foster-McClellan Co., 76 Pitt Street, Sj’dney. But be sure you get DOAN’S.
