Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd , Palmerston North report having held their usual fortnightly sale at Taihaoe on Wednesday, the 4th "ist A 'small entry of sheep came to hand bat the entry of cattle was good. Prices for sheep were firm at late rates but cattle were dull of sale and most of the lines offered were passed. We quote—Mixed hoggets, medium quality, 18s; dairy cows, £ls; mixed sex weaners, small, £4 2s
4 Loan and Mercantile Co., reports. At our Palmerston North sale on Thursday we had a moderate yardng of both sheep and cattle. Prices were on a par with recent sales. We quote:—2th wethers, 31s 9d to 325; bf. wethers, 34s 6d; empty forward cows, £3 10s to &4; 3 year emply heifers, £4 J6s to £5 9s.
