SANSON RED CROSS GUILD.
The quarterly statement showi a balance in band of £9 16s 2d. The funds are lower than usual but it is hoped to considerably, augment them during the month. Donations have almost ceased, but the amount of work done compares favourably with previous quarter. The ladies are at present engaged in an energetic canvas lor the “Copper Trail Fund T ’ and are meeting with a considerable amount of success. Donations:—Sir James Wilson, £5; Mrs Henson, 1 pair sos: Mrs Gifford, 2 race washers; Mis S. Penny, 3 magazines; Mrs W. Henson, 13 knitted facelwashers. List of goods forwarded to Red Cross Depot, Wellington:—43 suits pyjamas, 10 pairs hsunei shorts, 17 pairs hand knitted bed socks, 9 flannel bed jackets, 00 swabs, 9 pains hand knitted socks, 4 cboleia belts; 14 hand knitted scarves, 1 balaclava, 2 day shirts, 3 dressing gowns, 417 roller bandages.
