ASKED TO REPAIR LOSSES. SY UNFORTUNATE OFFENSIVES Received August 9, 8.55 a.m. Berne, August 8. Munition factories in Austria and Germany have received urgent appeals from the military authorities to increase production of war material at all cost in order to replace enormous losses of guns and ammunition sustained in the recent unfortunate offensives in Italy and France.
