KOTIATA DOMAIN BOARD.

The annual meeting of the above Board was held on Saturday. Present: Messrs B. P. Lethbridge, chairman, R, Brown, J. Brice, P. Brice, W. Doole, A. Gibbs, H. O’Callaghan, A- Simpson, and H. H. Richardson, secretary. The report stated that the first consideration of the Board will have to be the improvement of the road leading to the Domain «nd this can only be done by the co-operation of the Oountv Council, During the year 1917 about £BO, half of which was received by subscription, was spent by the County Council road, and cars can now be driven within half a mile of the Domain. —lt is proposed to survey into building allotments of about onesixth of an acre ench of a portion of the Domain and the laying off of a branch road in the Dom «in, giving legal access to the said sections. The leasing by public auction Or o therwise of said building allotments is also suggested. The survey will probably cost £3O.
