FOR JOINT MILITARY OPERATIONS TO SAVE STORES. Reuter. Washington, Feb. 37. Japan has directed enquiries to the Entente and the United States regarding joint military operations in Siberia, to save vast quantities .of war supplies stored at Yladiyostock the Siberian railroad. The situation is regarded by Japan as warranting action on her part, but she is willing for the co-opera-tion of the Allies and the United States to avoid the question of the ultimate disposition of the occupied/ territory in Siberia. ■

TO TAKE DRASTIC MEASURES. Tokio, Feb. 27. It is announced that Japan will take drastic measures to cope with any detrimental results of the Russo-German peace. A CONFERENCE BETWEEN ALLIES. AS TO SIBERIAN CO-OPERA-TION. ; ' Washington, Feb. 28. Japan has asked for Allied and American •views regarding joint military operations in Siberia in order to save ; supplies stored at Vladivostook and other points along the Siberian railroad. America has troops in ithe Ph ilippines and the Allies and America are considering whether there shall be a purely Japanese campaign in Siberia or if joint action as most advisable.
